SPARK

fierce firecracker

I write, here, and on other blogs from the heart with look you in the eye honesty – to help you ignite spark on your spiritual journey. I’ve got my editor on speed dial because I’m writing a practical digital program, more evolution™, to keep your mind calm and your heart warm… when yoga just isn’t enough. more evolution™ drops this summer!

true spark

Now that I’ve un-shamelessly plugged my upcoming launch, here’s my spin on spiritual spark: Living a life of purpose takes more than a diet of green smoothies. Feeling fulfilled in relationships takes more than reciting daily affirmations. Manifesting desirable outcomes takes more than a yoga practice. It starts with honest self-realization.

I slam green smoothies, recite daily affirmations and flex off in yoga practice. Yet, after a major life transition (here comes the bride), I took ownership of my life to a new level. I anchored to honest self-realization. I took self-discovery and personal evolution to a whole new orbit. Mental and emotional hidden spaces uncovered. Sobering honesty? Can I getta’ amen!

smoke + mirrors

I believe we are born to reflect the function of our individual souls. Those of us who are willing to get our hands dirty and recognize the calling of our purposeful reflection seek to find, know, and live out that function – one’s ultimate purpose. So how do you spark your soul’s function through distracting smoke and mirrors in today’s culture? With ferocious faith, unwavering truth and virtuous love.

I believe that you must go through stages of evolution before you can ignite your purpose within, and fully explore your truest function and duty in your lifetime. Before you access that virtuous rock star life, you must first evolutionize YOUR SELF into a reality filled with legit love. You have to muster up the courage to face your fears and take total ownership of your thoughts and behaviors. When you don’t, “faux complexions” – my concept for aligning with self-sabotaging mentalities – reflect negative perceptions and thoughts, mucking up your true reality with fake illusions.

When someone asks you for help, are your quick to say yes or no? When a difficult person shows up in your life, do you embrace them as someone sent to teach you something, or do you label them as just another hassle to deal with? How you interact is a complete true reflection of you.

Relationships, careers, patience, parenting, healing from physical or emotional wounds and self-acceptance concerns are daily challenges. When confronted with a distraction, what is your mindset? What are your feelings? What are your thoughts? Are you perceiving false illusions and reacting behaviorally or are you aligned with your “holy complexion” – my concept for vibrating with faith, honesty and love. Challenges can’t be solved by eliminating each and every outer cause. You have to be anchored to mindfulness – calm minded  and warm hearted, because the reality is challenges will always appear.
